The Gospel
Okay, so the bad news is that we are all in serious, serious trouble.  The Bible tells us that we have all
sinned and fallen short of God's glory and holy standard (Romans 3:23).  We are all appointed a time
to leave this earth, and, unless something happens, an eternal separation from God (which is even
worse than it sounds).
The good news is that there is a way, one way, to cancel that reservation and receive an eternity
in God's presence.  That's because Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth and sacrificed His life
for us.  He paid a price that cannot be paid by men's works or the sacrifice of animals:  the price of
redemption.  God's word declares that He loved us so much that he sacrificed His Son for our sins, so
that if we would just receive Him, we could join Him forever.
There is no greater love than the love of God, and no greater hope than knowing you have taken
Christ as your savior.  The Bible says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe
that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).  The bad news is that we are in
desperate need of salvation.  The good news is that God is waiting to freely give it.  If you want to
receive Jesus Christ as your savior, open your heart to Him and pray a prayer something like this:

"Jesus, I know that I am a sinner.  I know that without You I am lost, but I believe that You died for me.
I ask you to forgive my sins, wash me clean by your blood, and redeem my life.  I believe that You are
the only true and living God, and I want to live for you and serve you forever.  I accept You, Jesus, as
Lord of my life.  Come in to my heart and make me a new creation.  Amen."

If you've prayed this prayer and accepted Christ into your heart, we'd like to hear about it.  Maybe
we can pray with you or give you some resources to help you as you begin your walk with God.
Please email us or call us so we can rejoice with you and welcome you into the family of God.
